The Botsville money story
Long ago, old Botsville fell apart. Nobody took care of it, and it wasn’t run well, so it ran out of money. Now a new team of bots is building a brand-new world, brick by brick, with care, good planning and no debt.
That’s why the new bots don’t like debt. They save first, pay with money they already have, and plan carefully before they build. Their plans are just beginning, and they keep changing as Botsville grows. We’re always building!
Older kids and grown-ups can learn how the bots save with their own pretend coin in the Botcoin story at Botsville University →
The Botsville money rules
- Save first. Put some money away before you spend any.
- Pay with money you already have. If you don’t have it yet, save up for it.
- Make a plan. A budget is a simple plan for where your money will go.
- Give a little. Sharing some of what you have helps others.
- Stay debt-free. The bots don’t like owing money, so they save up instead of borrowing.
