Make your own Botsville story!

At Botsville USA, children don’t just watch the future, they help create it.

Every big idea starts small. What will you make?

Nana, her six grandkids and Bot paint a big cardboard rocket together, with starbursts painted on its side

Under construction

The bots are still building the make-it-yourself tools, and they’re coming soon! For now, a grown-up can email us your idea at [email protected] with the subject “My Botsville idea.”

✅ Get ready ✉️ How to send it

Three easy steps

  1. Dream it!

Think of an idea, like a dragon who loves pancakes.

  2. Tell it!

Say it, write it, or draw it, with a grown-up’s help.

  3. A bot helps build it!

Your grown-up gives your idea to a helper bot, and it helps turn it into a storybook, a video, or a lesson!

These are the same steps Nana shares at the end of The Adventures of Nana and Bot.

What could you make?

✅ Get ready: what to have before you start

Pick what you want to make, then think about these things with your grown-up. Little answers are perfect!

For a storybook

  • Who is it about? Your main character, and what they look like
  • Where does it happen?
  • The problem or adventure
  • How does it end?
  • What do we learn?
  • About 8 to 12 short sentences, or one for each page
  • Optional: your drawings (a grown-up can send a photo of the drawing, with no kids’ faces in it)

For a learning game

  • What does the game teach?
  • 3 to 5 questions, each with the right answer
  • A couple of wrong choices for each question
  • A prize or sticker idea for the end
  • Which bot hosts it?

For a video

  • The story or lesson in a few sentences
  • Which Botsville bots are in it (see Meet the Bots)
  • The place where it happens
  • The one thing kids should learn
  • How long? 1 to 3 minutes
  • Optional: a song idea, described in words
